NAR Unveils Strategy to Enhance Member Value & Modernize

OUSTON – On November 16, 2025, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) announced the adoption of its 2026‑2028 Strategic Plan, following unanimous approval by the Executive Committee. The plan, shaped by insights from over 150,000 industry voices, outlines a roadmap to modernize the organization and enhance the member experience, taking effect January 1 2026.

    CEO Nykia Wright said, “NAR is rebuilding trust through the largest transformation in real‑estate history. This data‑driven plan ensures we invest in initiatives that matter most to members and the industry, and it includes clear success metrics so stakeholders can hold us accountable.”

    By implementing the plan, NAR will upgrade its operations, increase member value, adapt to a changing market, and provide transparent performance indicators. The three‑year strategy emerged from listening to members and stakeholders, resulting in 24 prioritized initiatives that will fulfill commitments to members, partners, the industry, and consumers.
