ebecca Landau has joined Latham & Watkins’ New York office as a partner in the Real Estate Practice. She brings experience advising institutional lenders, financial institutions and private capital providers on complex commercial real‑estate financings and structured transactions, including preferred equity and mortgage‑REIT deals.

She is the second partner to join the practice in the past month; Michael Rechtin joined the Chicago office in August 2025. Landau comes from Haynes Boone, holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BS from Washington University in St. Louis.
