ipco Real Estate has secured five new parking garage leases, four in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan. The firm's parking garage advisory team worked with Red Apple Real Estate to find space for Metropolis at the following Brooklyn locations: Eagle at 86 Fleet Place, Margo at 180 Myrtle Avenue, Giovanni at 81 Fleet Place, and Ocean Drive at 1 Ocean Drive.
"We had high demand due to the locations' high traffic," said John Catsimatidis Jr., Red Apple's President and COO. "We chose Metropolis for their operating capabilities and reputation."
Ripco's Michelle Abramov and Maxwell Greengrass represented the garage owner, while the tenant's broker remains unclear. The asking rents and lease lengths were not disclosed.
"These deals demonstrate our team's ability to find strategic leasing opportunities that benefit both operators and landlords," said Abramov. "They can be transformative for companies like Metropolis looking to expand in high-demand areas."
In Manhattan, 20 East Ninth Street Corporation leased the Brevoort East garage at 20 East Ninth Street to Icon Parking on a long-term lease with undisclosed asking rent. Ripco's Gene Spiegelman, Jeffrey Rosbash, Doug Kleiman, and Morgan Singer represented the landlord.
"We're proud to have secured a high-quality tenant for the Brevoort East garage," said Spiegelman. "This lease enhances the asset's financial position and reinforces the value of integrated parking solutions in residential communities."
