he Hollywood Reporter's annual New York Power Broker Awards brought together the city's top real estate sellers to celebrate their achievements and industry impact. The event, held at a private members club, was co-hosted by Eleonora Srugo of Douglas Elliman and Steve Gold of Corcoran, stars of the reality TV show Selling the City.
"This is a room full of people I admire in this business," Srugo said, highlighting the importance of coming together to celebrate their successes. Thirty brokers were named to The Hollywood Reporter's list of top New York real estate agents in 2025, selected based on sales volume, media presence, and property prestige.
The awards recognized agents' work around celebrity property portfolios and historic architecture, as well as distinctions for media and philanthropic impact. Presenters included Alexander Ali of The Society Group and Andrew Bowman of Ash Staging, who sponsored the event.
Gold noted that the ability to sell historic architecture and new architecture within the same city is one of his favorite features of dealing in New York. He also praised the efficiency of showing high-end homes in the city, where travel times are significantly shorter than other major real estate centers.
The evening's winners included Carl Gambino for Celebrity Property Portfolio, Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes for Penthouse Sale of the Year, and Tim Davis for Philanthropic Impact Award. The event was an energetic affair that oscillated between sincere appreciation and light humor, with Gold winning Media Maverick and Hudson Advisory taking home Team of the Year.
