NFL Legend's Former Mansion Hits the Market

Deion Sanders' former Prosper mansion, a 29,220-square-foot estate, is now on the market.

T
he former estate of NFL star Deion Sanders in Prosper is on the market for $5.5 million. The 29,220-square-foot mansion at 1400 Copper Point Dr. "awaits a stunning restoration," according to its listing agent Heather Stevens of The Agency Frisco. Built in 1999 by Sanders, who was a Dallas Cowboys star and University of Colorado head coach, the property has been vacant since he sold it in 2014.

The estate boasts impressive features, including nine bedrooms, ten full bathrooms, and two half-baths. The primary suite is a luxurious retreat with a fireplace, kitchenette, laundry station, and 3,000-square-foot custom closet. The entertainment wing offers a home theater, indoor pool, bowling alley, basketball courts, sauna, steam shower, barber shop, recreation room, fitness center, and more.

Outside, the property features an 8-acre pond with private dock, outdoor pool, kitchen, and entertaining space. The 14-bay garage includes two oversized spaces for a yacht or RV. Although the current owner purchased the property in 2022 with renovation plans, they never lived there, leaving it to be restored by its next owner.

The ideal buyer would be an athlete willing to put in the work to revive this prime location. The price is below recent appraisal value due to needed repairs, but Stevens notes that the land and bones of the property are already intact, making it a rare find in Prosper.
