Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne's $2.4M LA condo goes on sale months after death

Ozzy Osbourne’s West Hollywood condo hits market at $2.375M, less than four months after his death in England.

O
zzy Osbourne’s West Hollywood condo has been listed for $2.375 million, just months after the legendary rocker’s death in England. The 10th‑floor unit, part of Sierra Towers, offers a single bedroom, 1½ bathrooms, and over 1,200 sq ft of living space. It features a spacious living room with floor‑to‑ceiling windows, a private balcony, a galley kitchen with marble countertops, stainless‑steel appliances, and a built‑in washer‑dryer. The bedroom includes a walk‑in closet, a terrace, and a desk, while the bathrooms boast double vanities and glass showers.

The property, managed by the family’s long‑time financial adviser through a trust, was bought in 2022 for $2.25 million. It is one of two units the Osbournes owned in the building; the adjacent condo sold in October 2024 for $4.35 million. The 2024 rental listing had priced the unit at $9,500 per month.

Sierra Towers offers residents 24/7 security, door attendants, valet parking, a front desk, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, a steam room, and additional storage. The building’s amenities underscore the luxury of the unit.

Ozzy’s family had expressed a desire to leave Los Angeles for the UK in 2022, citing frustration with life in the U.S. and concerns over gun violence. Despite plans to relocate, health complications—including multiple surgeries and Parkinson’s disease—kept him in California. Just weeks before his death, Sharon Osbourne announced that Ozzy would finally move to the UK in March, a move that never materialized as he passed away on July 4, 2024.

The cause of death, as detailed in a London death certificate filed by daughter Aimee, was cardiac arrest and coronary artery disease, with Parkinson’s disease and autonomic dysfunction listed as joint causes. The family released a statement noting that Ozzy died surrounded by loved ones and requested privacy.

In the months leading up to his death, Ozzy returned to the stage with Black Sabbath for a one‑night reunion at Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, marking the first performance together in 20 years. He thanked fans for their support, expressing gratitude to his bandmates and the audience.

The condo’s listing, handled by Jonah Wilson, Josh Greer, and Rudy Serrato of Carolwood Estates, reflects the legacy of a property that once served as a home for a rock icon. The sale price of $2.375 million positions it among the more affordable units in the high‑end West Hollywood market, especially considering its size, location, and the building’s extensive amenities.
