ndrew Unanue, a member of the billionaire family behind Goya Foods, has sold his Palm Beach mansion at 120 Clarendon Avenue to Lawrence Rolnick and Kimberly Sorrentino for $27.5 million. The sale comes two years after Unanue purchased a lakefront estate in Palm Beach for $63.4 million. Records show that Unanue's previous home was listed by Dana Koch of the Corcoran Group, while Margit Brandt of Premier Estate Properties brought the buyers.
Rolnick and Sorrentino, attorneys and real estate investors from New Jersey, have a history of buying and selling properties in Palm Beach County. They acquired two West Palm Beach condos for $1.37 million in 2023 and previously purchased a home across from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club for $8.9 million in 2015.
Unanue's family founded Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the US, with an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion. Andrew Unanue has diversified his wealth by heading AUA Private Equity Partners and investing in Palm Beach real estate. He purchased the Clarendon Avenue mansion for $22.7 million in 2021 and sold it after slashing the price twice.
The sale is part of a busy start to Palm Beach's real estate season, with other pricey closings already reported. Financiers Richard and Cornelia Thornburgh recently sold their waterfront home on Everglades Island for $25.4 million.
