Real estate executive faces fresh accusations of sexual misconduct

New allegations of sexual assault emerge against prominent real estate developer

A
fourth civil lawsuit has been filed against prominent Sacramento real estate investor Ethan Conrad, alleging he made unwanted sexual advances in exchange for employment at his company. The complaint, filed Monday in Sacramento County Superior Court, claims Conrad repeatedly propositioned a woman for sex and got her drunk before engaging in a "violent and traumatic" act.

The plaintiff also alleges that in April, Conrad offered her alcohol and attempted to have sex with her after she declined. Her attorney confirmed that the matter has been reported to law enforcement, which is investigating the allegations.

This latest complaint follows three previous lawsuits against Conrad, including one accusing him of sexual battery. In total, four women have now filed civil suits alleging sexual assault, battery, harassment, and coercion. Conrad has denied all allegations and responded by filing cross-complaints in two cases, accusing the women of attempting to extort money.

Conrad's attorneys stated that he is confident the latest lawsuit will be dismissed and that he looks forward to prevailing in court. However, the plaintiff's attorney plans to sue Conrad for defamation, arguing that his suggestion of extortion was false and defamatory.

Ethan Conrad is a well-known figure in Sacramento's business community and owns one of California's largest commercial real estate brokerages. Despite ongoing civil litigation, he has not yet responded in court to two recent lawsuits. The lawsuits against Conrad are ongoing, with no court rulings issued yet.
