eal estate expert David Perry has joined Michael Saunders & Co.'s MS&C Commercial Division as a director. He brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate to his new role, having spent 12 years as national director of real estate for Terra Realty Group. In this position, he was instrumental in developing and leasing neighborhood strip centers ranging in size from 6,000 to 30,000 square feet. His responsibilities included identifying prime retail locations, negotiating leases, and presenting projects to local governments.
Prior to his role at Terra Realty Group, Perry also worked as a site acquisition manager for Retail Site Experts, where he identified and managed sites for 7-Eleven developments throughout Florida. He also served as director of land services at Mainstreet Realty, overseeing the selection and development of 36 senior care facilities valued at up to $20 million each. Additionally, he worked as vice president of real estate development at Baldridge Real Estate, managing multiple development projects across state and international boundaries for brands like Walgreens, Rite Aid, and AutoZone.
According to a statement from Michael Saunders & Co., Perry's extensive experience in managing large projects, site selection, contract negotiation, and executing complex deals will significantly enhance the firm's capabilities and drive growth within the commercial sector.
