Residential Real Estate Transactions in Sarasota's Coastal Communities (Nov. 4-8)

A Bird Key home on West Royal Flamingo Drive leads this week's sales with a price of $7.88 million.

he priciest home sale this week was a Bird Key residence that changed hands for $7.88 million. John and Margaret Russell sold their 2007-built property at 364 W. Royal Flamingo Drive to Michael Canney and Diane Canney, trustees, both of Sarasota. The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home boasts 6,289 square feet of living space and a pool.

    In the John Ringling Estates area, Maryanne Maier, trustee, sold two properties at 259 John Ringling Blvd. to James and Susan Davis for $2,575,000. One property, built in 1952, has three bedrooms, two baths, and 1,469 square feet of living space. The other, also built in 1952, features one bedroom, one bath, and 400 square feet.

    A home at 240 Van Buren Place sold for $1.2 million to 240 Van Buren LLC. Built in 1962, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool, and 2,375 square feet of living area.

    In Emerald Pointe South, Michele De Luce and Leighton Allenby sold their Unit 6 condominium at 1915 Harbour Links Circle to Todd and Lisa Zimmerman for $1,775,000. The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath condo has a pool and 2,462 square feet of living space.

    The Pierre saw Kenneth Leung and Ester Rodriguez sell their Unit 307 condominium at 455 Longboat Club Road to Robert Grossi for $1,725,000. Built in 1990, it features three bedrooms, three baths, and 2,410 square feet of living area.

    A Seaplace condominium sold for $1 million when Nancy and David Schwiesow, of Roseland, Virginia, sold their Unit G8-301-B to Jeffrey and Deborah Milks, of New Albany, Ohio. The 1978-built property has three bedrooms, two baths, and 1,492 square feet of living space.
