RHONY Alum Lists NYC Mansion for $8.99M, Marks End of an Era

Downtown apartment in historic Beaux-Arts Police Building, former NYPD headquarters.

K
elly Killoren Bensimon, a former Real Housewives of New York City star, is listing her three-bedroom condo in the historic Beaux-Arts Police Building for $8.99 million. The 1909 landmarked building, located at 240 Centre St., was once the headquarters of the NYPD and has been converted into condos since 1988.

Bensimon, who will be representing the unit herself as a Douglas Elliman broker, raised her kids in the family-sized loft. "It's game over," she said. "So much of my life was filmed from that apartment. I'm closing the past. It's all about success, wellness and the future."

The condo features a large arched Palladian window, an open chef's kitchen, and plenty of closet space. Building amenities include a full-time resident manager, concierge, doorman, gym, and private garden.

Bensimon is no stranger to the building, which has been home to celebrities like Christy Turlington, Winona Ryder, and Steffi Graf. Her ex-husband, fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon, also lives next door. The building's unique history and architectural features make it a "legacy property" that works for singles and families alike.

The condo had previously been on the market as a $25,000-a-month rental before Bensimon decided to list it for sale.
