S
hepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in West Bend, Wisconsin is set to dedicate its newly expanded facility on April 15, 2025. The 9,655-square-foot addition was first proposed in November 2023 and broke ground during Holy Week in 2024. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m., marking the completion of the project.
The expansion is the second major renovation for the church since its opening in 2005. Builders for Christ, a volunteer group, played a significant role in the construction process. Mark Pamperin from the organization stated that they worked on the outside and interior walls, as well as the altar, which was completed between June 4 and August 10.
Pastor Clark expressed excitement about the project's timing, noting that it will be finished just in time for Christmas services. The expansion includes additional parking stalls, bringing the total to 150.
