illon Okner, a former retail construction manager at Apple, knows the frustration of managing multiple projects across different regions. He used to receive weekly updates from regional managers via local or cloud spreadsheets, only to find himself scrambling to close deliverables gaps on time. The lack of a unified system made it difficult for his team to stay on track.
Okner co-founded SiteRise, an online platform that streamlines project management by allowing regional construction managers to log drawings, leases, documents, and timeline updates in real-time. This eliminates siloed data reporting across development teams and provides instant updates on project progress across regions.
SiteRise's dashboard is customizable with reporting categories such as RFIs, change orders, and punch lists. Okner emphasizes that having a unified system gives his team confidence, allowing them to respond quickly to changes in the design or budget. For example, if an architect makes changes to the design, everyone on the construction team is immediately notified.
SiteRise also includes a budgeting tool that allows headquarters to note changes and for all construction teams to be aware of updates. This eliminates the need for manual mark-ups with pens, making it easier for project managers like Okner to track progress and stay on top of their projects.
