This role requires breaking news, identifying trends, and delving into the complexities of urban development in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The successful candidate will tell compelling stories about changing neighborhoods, track price fluctuations, and stay on top of condo crises, all while navigating new laws and regulations.

    This beat demands a balance between quick-turn reporting and in-depth analysis to explain the underlying issues driving these changes. The reporter will work closely with other journalists whose beats intersect with real estate, developing deep sources to break exclusives and shed light on emerging trends.

    We're looking for a seasoned journalist with at least five years of experience in a daily newsroom who can think creatively and tell stories with authority and context. Key skills include:
