South Florida Real Estate Firm Merges with Charles Rutenberg Realty

Davie-based Real Estate Authority merges with Charles Rutenberg Realty Fort Lauderdale.

he Davie-based Real Estate Authority has merged with Charles Rutenberg Realty Fort Lauderdale, expanding United Real Estate's presence in South Florida. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

    United Real Estate President Rick Hasse said the merger brings new talent and growth opportunities to the region, despite a challenging market. "We're excited to deploy our tools and services to [Real Estate Authority] agents, helping them grow and prosper," he added.

    As part of the deal, Michael Brownell will become Charles Rutenberg's talent attraction specialist, leveraging his recruiting experience and market knowledge to bring new agents to the company. Brownell said the merger allows him to provide his 60 agents with access to world-class education, coaching, and technology.

"Michael's dedication and professionalism will be invaluable assets as we continue to grow in South Florida." Brownell brings 18 years of experience as a licensed agent and brokerage leader to the role.
