arcy Stacom and Wendy Silverstein, two seasoned New York City real estate professionals, have joined forces to launch StacomSilverstein, a new advisory firm based in the city. Stacom, known as the "Queen of Skyscrapers," left CBRE last year after becoming its top investment sales broker, while Silverstein founded Gapview Ventures in January 2023 and previously held executive roles at Vornado Realty Trust.
The duo aims to provide unconflicted strategic advice across a range of transactions, leveraging their combined expertise. "We realized there's a need for our skills and experience in the current market," Stacom said. The firm will handle acquisitions, dispositions, debt and equity capital markets, restructuring, and investing.
StacomSilverstein boasts an impressive client roster, with Vornado Realty Trust already on board. CEO Steve Roth praised the new partnership, stating that they'll receive "many important and complex assignments" from the company. Stacom's extensive experience at CBRE includes notable deals like the $2.8 billion sale of the General Motors Building in 2008 and Google's $2.4 billion purchase of Chelsea Market in 2018.
The new firm is poised to navigate complex transactions, with Silverstein noting that their combined networks and talents will make them a powerhouse in the industry.
