Staten Island Open House Event: A Glimpse into NYC's Real Estate Scene

Dozens of properties open this weekend for Realtor-led tours and homebuying guidance.

T
his weekend, Staten Island's real estate market will be on full display as dozens of properties open their doors to potential buyers. The Staten Island Multiple Listing Service, a subsidiary of the Staten Island Board of Realtors, is hosting its largest coordinated Open House Weekend event yet, offering homebuyers a unique opportunity to explore available homes across the borough.

On April 26 and 27, visitors can browse properties at their own pace, asking questions and inquiring about the home buying process with local real estate professionals. The event is designed to connect sellers with multiple buyers simultaneously, allowing them to showcase their property's unique features and address any concerns.

According to Annmarie Triolo, 2025 president of the Staten Island Board of Realtors, open houses provide a convenient platform for buyers to engage with realtors and gain valuable insights into the local market. "By working with a Staten Island Realtor," she notes, "buyers can tap into their expertise and navigate the home buying journey with confidence."

Ron Molcho, chairman of the Staten Island Multiple Listing Service, adds that collaborating with a local realtor is essential for fulfilling homeownership goals. "They possess valuable knowledge of market preferences and can guide buyers through the process with ease," he says.
