urmount, a New York‑based commercial real‑estate firm, is expanding to Los Angeles and will soon open a local office. Its first LA hire, Kyle Gulock, joins as Managing Director of Investments. Surmount formed in April from the merger of NNN Pro, STNL Advisors and United Global Development Co., focusing on net‑lease solutions for investors, private‑equity sponsors, family offices, tenants, developers and lenders.
Gulock, former co‑founder and managing partner of Century Partners, has nearly two decades of LA experience and has closed more than $1 billion in net‑lease deals. His appointment signals the company’s West Coast push, and the firm is scouting office space in the city.
“Surmount is a one‑stop shop for the net‑lease market,” Gulock said. “We combine advisory, sale‑leaseback, lease structuring, capital markets, development and principal investment under one roof, giving us a focused net‑lease advantage over generalists.”
The LA strategy centers on linking with institutional investors and real‑estate firms seeking long‑term deals and growth. While expanding its presence, Surmount will partner with LA‑based owners, operators and developers active nationwide, helping them redeploy capital through sale‑leaseback, structured net‑lease transactions and capital‑market solutions tied to broader national portfolios.
