In San Marcos, Walton sold 88 acres to Stafford Development for a utility lot serving nearby residential and commercial developments. This land is northeast of the San Marcos Regional Airport and part of the Cotton Gateway community, which will include 1,600 lots.
Walton also sold 27 acres in Rock Creek Ranch West to Abacus Capital in Tarrant County, about 20 miles southwest of downtown Fort Worth. The company has a strong focus on Sun Belt land deals, particularly in Atlanta and Texas, where it manages over 28,000 acres.
