eveler Development Celebrates Grand Opening of The Eddy in Biddeford
Biddeford, ME - Reveler Development marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of The Eddy, a 250-unit multi-family community at 8 Eddy Avenue. A ceremonial tree planting event on July 24 brought together local leaders and project partners to celebrate this achievement.
The tree planting ceremony was attended by Mayor Martin Grohman, who praised The Eddy for providing high-quality apartments in a strategic area of the city. "This development connects people to jobs, downtown businesses, walking trails, and each other," said the mayor. "We're grateful to the development team for bringing this vision to life."
The Eddy has already reached nearly 70% occupancy since welcoming residents in March. The four-story complex features sophisticated design and natural accessibility, with private patios, walkable green spaces, and abundant natural light. Residents can enjoy amenities such as a bocce court, sunroom, and state-of-the-art golf simulator.
Reveler CEO John Laliberte credited the project's success to collaboration and community support. "Huge thanks to the team that made The Eddy possible," he said. "This is a place people want to live."
The Eddy features open-concept layouts, stainless steel appliances, quartz and granite countertops, and matte black finishes. Managing Director Michael Barton reflected on the development's roots in the area's natural surroundings. "The name and feel of this place were inspired by Biddeford's connection to the Saco River, the seacoast, and the Eastern Trail," he said.
The Eddy is currently leasing.
