reaking into the high-stakes world of real estate, former mixed martial arts champion Tim Stout has found a new arena to conquer. With his team, the Tim Stout Group, now part of eXp Realty, Stout is poised to take on the industry with a winning combination of innovative technology and old-school grit.
Stout's journey from the octagon to the real estate ring began in 2012, when he traded in his fighting gloves for a sales career. What started as a solo act quickly evolved into a high-performing team specializing in residential sales and catering to high-net-worth investors. The turning point came when Stout met Brandon Brittingham, a real estate powerhouse who inspired him with his investing success.
"I was skeptical at first," Stout admits, "but the more I learned about eXp Realty's model, the more it made sense. It's all about support, technology, and collaboration – exactly what my team needs to scale while delivering exceptional service."
eXp Realty CEO Leo Pareja welcomes Stout with open arms: "Tim embodies the kind of disciplined leadership that thrives at eXp. His drive and focus on team growth align perfectly with our mission. We're thrilled to have him on board and look forward to supporting his continued success."
Stout's transition from combat sports to real estate is a testament to his unyielding work ethic, honed during his modest upbringing in Tennessee with six siblings. After a decorated career in mixed martial arts, he sought a new challenge where hard work directly correlated with results.
"Real estate was the perfect fit," Stout says. "I put in the work and see the results firsthand – it's a direct correlation that I love."
Beyond real estate, Stout remains deeply invested in his community, co-founding Apex Predator Training to provide self-defense education and offering free training sessions for local law enforcement every Wednesday. As a leader, he prioritizes mentorship and agent development, ensuring his team delivers an unmatched experience for clients.
"In fighting, success meant outmatching my opponent," Stout reflects. "In real estate, it's about delivering the best service and results. Now, as a leader, I focus on making sure my agents provide an exceptional experience – that's what drives me."
