    To help navigate this complex process, USA TODAY, the USA TODAY Network Tennessee, and market research firm Statista collaborated to create "Tennessee’s Best Real Estate Agencies 2024," a list of the top-performing real estate offices in the state. The list includes 300 agencies across 39 counties, with each office evaluated based on factors such as successful home sales, price ratio between listing and final sale, days to complete the sale, and volume of sales.

    A good agent is one who listens to clients' needs and communicates effectively, according to Memphis-based Realtor Zach Thomas. The statewide list highlights top-performing agencies without ranking them, instead focusing on their performance within their respective regions.
