    Packer, the Australian billionaire who once chaired Crown Resorts and is the son of late media magnate Kerry Packer, closed the deal on May 6. The estate, nicknamed “Le Belvedere,” is a French‑château‑style mansion boasting 10 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a wellness center. The 35,000‑square‑foot home sits on a 2.2‑acre parcel.

    The property was listed by Carolwood Estates’ Stephen Resnick and David Parnes for a Europe‑based limited liability company tied to UK native Richard Livingstone. Livingstone and his brother Ian co‑founded London & Regional Properties. Packer’s purchase was handled by Westside Estate Agency co‑founder Kurt Rappaport and Carolwood Estates co‑founder Drew Fenton.

    Developer Mohamed Hadid built the house in 2007 and sold it in 2010 for $50 million to an LLC linked to Turkish yacht magnate Sarp Turanligil, then leased it back. The home featured a 60‑seat screening room and a master suite with a walk‑in closet that could hold 1,000 pairs of shoes, according to a former listing cited by Mansion Global.

    The property’s last sale was in 2018. It was listed for $85 million in December 2016, then for $72 million in January 2018, before finally selling for $56 million in May 2018 to an LLC controlled by Los Angeles investor Max Fowles‑Pazdro.
