Twin siblings face charges in Miami-Dade sex assault case hearing

Luxury Real Estate Broker and Twin Brother Face Sexual Assault Charges in Miami-Dade Court Hearing.

A
Miami-Dade judge has set a new hearing date for identical twin brothers Oren and Alon Alexander, who are facing $5 million bond in connection with sexual assault charges. The 37-year-old brothers did not attend Monday's hearing, where their attorneys discussed the bond terms.

Last week, Oren was granted a $3 million bond while Alon received a $2 million bond, but they were ordered to be held pending a federal hearing. Judge Lody Jean advised defense attorneys to wait for the outcome of the federal case before posting bail in the state case.

The Alexander brothers' co-founder and another brother, Tal Alexander, is also charged in a sex trafficking scheme. Tal was denied bail last week after an appearance in federal court. The brothers gained national attention when allegations against them were made public months ago.

Federal prosecutors allege that all three brothers worked together to drug, assault, and rape dozens of victims between 2010 and 2021. They used their wealth and influence to take advantage of victims, often providing flights, hotels, and other expenses in exchange for sex. In some cases, they promised romantic relationships or used deception and coercion.

In the Miami-Dade cases, prosecutors described two incidents involving gang rape and sexual assault. One woman was allegedly raped at Alon's apartment after being invited to a barbecue, while another woman said she was assaulted by Oren after being given a drugged glass of wine at his apartment following a real estate event.
