OYNE CITY — A Boyne City estate, Randall's Point on Walloon Lake, is one of the most iconic waterfront properties in Michigan currently on the market. The 15-acre property features a main log home, three guest cabins, and over 2,100 square feet of lake frontage. It was purchased by the Randall family in the early 1900s.
The estate's history dates back to the 1920s when Mr. Randall and his friend Ernest Hemingway would hunt on the property. The property includes a main log home built in the 1970s, which underwent a major renovation in 2001. It features a self-contained first floor master suite, hardwood floors, walls of windows, a stone fireplace, and a chef's kitchen.
The three guest cabins were also built in the 1920s, while the original barn and boathouse remain on the property. The Point Cottage has one bedroom, one loft, and one full bath, while the North Nest Cottage has four bedrooms and two full baths. The Mess Hall, originally a boat house, has three bedrooms and one full bath.
Potential owners will have the option to add more houses to the property, which is currently listed for $18 million. More information is available at patleavy.com.
