Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG has successfully facilitated the brokerage of two rental properties for Bremer Tafel e.V.; this transaction serves the strategic expansion of social infrastructure in Bremen. The new locations comprise a distribution point in the Hastedt district and a logistics centre in Überseestadt, forming a basis for the further development of supply structures for those in need in the region.

As part of these activities, a lease agreement was concluded for a commercial unit at Insterburger Straße 15a–17 in Bremen-Hastedt. The property, which spans approximately 420 square metres of warehouse and office space, is intended for long-term use as a new distribution point. The commencement of the lease for this property, whose landlord is a private owner, has been set for 1 January 2026. The contract has a term of five years.

In addition to the distribution point, another central location has been secured in the Speicherhof of Bremen's Überseestadt. This property will function as a logistics centre for Bremer Tafel and as a distribution hub for the regional association of Tafel organisations in Lower Saxony/Bremen. Vollers Group GmbH is acting as the landlord. The lease commencement for this property is scheduled for 1 July 2026. The centre will play a crucial role in the logistical supply of distribution points in the Bremen urban area and approximately 25 other Tafel facilities in the surrounding region.

Marcel Holka, Senior Consultant Logistics & Industrial Real Estate at Robert C. Spies, commented on the successful brokering. He emphasised that combining a decentralised distribution point and a central logistics location creates the conditions for an efficient and reliable supply to people affected by poverty. He highlighted that, in a challenging market environment, the long-term securing of social infrastructure is of significant importance. These structural measures by Bremer Tafel are important given the high demand for support, to sustainably secure the work and continue to develop the services according to need, as confirmed by Uwe Schneider, Chairman of Bremer Tafel e.V.

The location strategy now implemented by Bremer Tafel, supported by Robert C. Spies' brokerage, underscores a proactive approach to the challenges of social welfare. Through the targeted distribution of distribution points and the strengthening of logistical capacities, the efficiency of aid services can be improved and a broader spectrum of those in need can be reached. This development represents an investment in social infrastructure that goes beyond immediate emergency relief and creates long-term prospects for the Tafel's work in the region.
