The company, which specialises in roofing systems, has signed a lease agreement with Haid-Immobilien for an initial term of five years. This contract includes an option to extend for a further five years. The rented space comprises a total area of approximately 628 square metres for production and 270 square metres for office use. The commercial premises were brokered by Beate Protze Immobilien GmbH from Dresden.
Expansion of a leading provider
Schweng GmbH is one of the key providers of roofing systems in the German-speaking world. The company's portfolio includes the development, production, sales, and installation of custom-made solutions. With a total of 22 locations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Schweng GmbH has a widespread presence.
The company's product range is diverse and includes patio roofs, carports, conservatories, balcony roofs, and awnings. Furthermore, Schweng GmbH also implements special individual solutions. These include, for example, shelters for bicycles and shopping trolleys, bin storage, and equipment rooms.
Details of the leased property
The newly leased commercial property is located in the established industrial park of Ottendorf-Okrilla in the Bautzen district and sits on a plot of approximately 2,800 square metres. The production hall covers an area of about 600 square metres. It is insulated and heated. An adjoining workshop supplements the production area by approximately 28 square metres.
The office and administrative areas amount to around 270 square metres. These are structured into two separate office rooms and a generously sized area. This additional area is flexibly usable and suitable for a showroom, as a reception area, or for meetings, which underscores the functional orientation of the property.
