Facility services provider Wisag is relocating a site within the Nuremberg urban area and moving into new premises in the north-west of the Franconian city. At Rathsbergstrasse 25, the services company has leased a total area of around 950 square metres. The move into the new unit is scheduled for November this year.
The leased space features a dedicated layout: around 800 square metres are allocated to modern office space, while a further 150 square metres will be used for logistics. This division enables the service provider to handle administrative tasks and logistics operations at a single address.
Transition from single-occupier property to multi-tenant letting
The property on Rathsbergstrasse has a notable history of prior use. For a long period, the office and commercial complex served automotive supplier Aptiv as its anchor tenant. Following the supplier group's departure last year, a realignment phase on the Nuremberg commercial property market began for the extensive property.
The entire site encompasses a total lettable area of just over 15,000 square metres and is owned by a private investor. Rather than seeking another single occupier, the building is now being let on the market in smaller units in phases. The new lease to Wisag marks a substantial step in this repurposing and marketing phase.
