The Institute Corporate Governance in der deutschen Immobilienwirtschaft e.V. (ICG), founded in Berlin in 2002, has confirmed the certification of Aengevelt Immobilien in the field of "Compliance Management in the Real Estate Industry". This is the seventh consecutive certificate awarded to the company after a successful recertification audit. The initial certification took place back in the summer of 2010 as part of a pilot group of six companies.
The certification is based on a code specially developed by the ICG, which outlines the principles of proper and fair business management in the real estate industry. The certificate now received confirms the continuation of value management based on these ICG principles at Aengevelt Immobilien and is valid until 31 August 2029.
The certificate was presented by Karin Barthelmes-Wehr, Managing Director of the ICG. Also present were Kerstin Baumgartinger from the ICG, as well as WP Rolf Künemann and Senior Manager Real Estate Advisory Jochen Seidel from the auditing firm Deloitte GmbH, who accompanied the auditing process. For Aengevelt Immobilien, Dr. Lutz Aengevelt, Dr. Wulff Aengevelt, Mark Aengevelt and Max Aengevelt accepted the award. They were accompanied by Susanne Ollmann, the company's Head of Human Resources and Values Officer, and Volker Kartnig, Head of Accounting and Data Protection Officer.
The Aengevelt family expressed their delight at the renewed confirmation of their value management, particularly in the year of the company's 117th anniversary. The ICG certification is understood as a pioneering industry accent that underscores the company's decades of work in targeted industry innovations and academic education and training initiatives, including at the European Business School (ebs) and the University of Regensburg (IR/EBS).
In addition to the ICG certification, Aengevelt Immobilien successfully completed a surveillance audit of its sales-oriented quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 in late summer 2025. The company's customer focus, which aims for continuous optimisation of company processes and customer care, is also confirmed by external surveys. The customer satisfaction analysis for the 2025 financial year, conducted by an independent survey institute, showed that 100 % of respondents would "definitely" or "possibly" use Aengevelt as a service provider again. Likewise, 100 % of respondents would "definitely" or "possibly" recommend the company to business associates or partners.
