The Alloheim Group, a significant player in the field of inpatient care services, has announced the acquisition of the operational business of INTEGRA Senior Care Facilities. INTEGRA, headquartered in Hamburg, operates nine facilities, offering a total of around 1,000 places for inpatient care and assisted living. As part of this transaction, the real estate portfolio will be acquired by European Senior Living (ESL), an investment fund managed by Elevation Advisors LLP, an investment manager specialising in healthcare and senior living properties. This acquisition solidifies the Alloheim Group's position as the largest private provider of inpatient care services in Germany.
Dr. Steffen Hehner, CEO of the Alloheim Group, highlighted the strategic importance of the acquisition. He emphasised that INTEGRA offers high quality of care, boasts modern and attractive facilities, and is economically stable. The integration of the INTEGRA facilities strengthens the Alloheim Group's presence particularly in the federal states of Hamburg, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, where a large number of Alloheim facilities already exist. These existing structures enable close cooperation regarding personnel and collaboration with external partners.
As part of the integration, extensive investments are planned for the further development of care and the sustainability of the buildings. Dr. Hehner expressed his satisfaction with Elevation as a long-term real estate partner and landlord. Furthermore, the new employees and residents are set to benefit from an intensification of digitisation in care, which is being driven forward across the group. The INTEGRA brand will be retained within the Alloheim Group to further strengthen its positioning.
Momme Bialas, Managing Director of INTEGRA, expressed a positive view of the merger. He emphasised that INTEGRA would thereby become part of a large, dynamic group committed to the continuous development of care and the promotion of innovations. This secures the long-term viability of the facilities. The collaboration with Elevation as the new property owner was also highlighted as advantageous, given Elevation's remarkable track record and profound expertise in operating senior living facilities, and that this acquisition expands its presence in Germany.
Andrea Auteri, Managing Partner at Elevation, underscored the decades of experience and extensive expertise of the Alloheim Group in the integration and sustainable management of care companies. He expressed his pleasure in building this long-term partnership. The joint goal is to combine investments in high-quality, sustainable and needs-based senior living properties with a demanding standard of care. The transfer of the operational business, following the completion of antitrust reviews, is provisionally scheduled for 1 October 2026.
