Bayerische Hausbau RE GmbH & Co. KG (BHRE), in collaboration with ASCAVO AG, has redesigned its entire system landscape within 18 months, making it future-proof. The implementation of SAP S/4HANA and the introduction of an open architecture approach form the technological basis for more efficient processes and increased quality of services in property management.
Increased efficiency through modern system architecture
The new system landscape is based on a cloud architecture and harmonised, workflow-supported end-to-end processes. It enables the digital and media-consistent handling of operations such as damage reports from the first step to completion. This improves the control of property management, strengthens customer focus, and specifically enhances service quality. The solution also creates the prerequisites for future developments such as the integration of Artificial Intelligence and provides a reliable data basis for modern reporting solutions, including ESG reports. The open architecture approach and open interfaces allow for the flexible connection of peripheral systems to respond to future requirements.
Marcel Wnendt, Managing Director of Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate, emphasises the success of the project: "We modernised our complete IT landscape in just 18 months with the support of ASCAVO AG. In doing so, we have created the prerequisites for a successful future for the company and, step by step, noticeable added value for our customers and employees."
SAP S/4HANA as the backbone of the transformation
The project involved setting up a future-proof IT ecosystem. ASCAVO implemented SAP S/4HANA and migrated the previously used SAP ECC 6.0 solution to the new system landscape. Existing data was migrated, and the SAP Business Technology Platform was integrated for interface management, as well as interfaces to central peripheral systems such as portfolio management, customer service, and document management. Additionally, the ASCAVO Baunavigator was introduced to increase the efficiency of technical construction and maintenance processes.
Marc Petzoldt, Head of IT at Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate, adds: "With SAP S/4HANA, we have created a stable and future-proof IT basis. Together with ASCAVO, we succeeded in consistently implementing the IT target vision on schedule. The new system landscape is integrated, scalable, and optimally aligned with future requirements." ASCAVO will continue to support Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate in system optimisation.
