Bonava, the project developer active nationwide, celebrated a topping out ceremony for a further construction phase in the Finkengarten project, together with the Mayor of Wildau, Frank Nerlich. This undertaking, centrally located and in the immediate vicinity of the Wildau Technical University, involves the creation of a total of 91 owner-occupied flats.

The planned residential units vary in size between two- and five-room flats and offer living areas from 49 to 123 square metres. The first families are expected to move into their completed flats as early as March 2025. Bonava has announced that the full neighbourhood development will be completed next year.

Wildau location with strong growth

Jona Jamrozy, Project Manager at Bonava in Germany, commented on the development of the Wildau location. She emphasised the significant growth of the town, which is favoured by its proximity to Berlin and the existing technology and science cluster. Wildau had already surpassed growth development forecasts for 2030 in the previous year. The new neighbourhood aims to offer a diverse target group the opportunity to acquire residential property in an attractive region. Some of the flats are already completed and can be occupied immediately, which avoids potential double financial burden.

The “Finkengarten” residential quarter combines the advantages of a natural residential location with efficient transport links. The area is characterised by the landscape of the Dahme lakes and borders a nature reserve, which should ensure a tranquil and green atmosphere for residents. At the same time, the location is distinguished by short distances. BER Airport and the A10 motorway are quickly accessible. Wildau S-Bahn station is approximately two kilometres away. Furthermore, shopping facilities are available in the immediate vicinity, and educational institutions such as nurseries and schools are within walking distance. These infrastructural conditions position Finkengarten as an attractive location for families, commuters and interested parties who wish to combine natural living with good infrastructure.
