In the Emst district of Hagen, the first 40 apartments of the Brantheke quarter have been completed on schedule. Construction company GOLDBECK handed over the four buildings of the first phase to the municipal housing company ha.ge.we. The letting process for the new units has already begun, with initial tenancy agreements already signed.
Differentiated apartment mix and sustainable building services
The housing offering in the quarter covers a broad spectrum: floor plans range from two- to five-room units with living spaces between 51 and 110 square metres. ha.ge.we is thus providing differentiated space for households of various sizes. In addition to privately financed units, the allocation includes subsidised housing for income groups A and B.
Conceptually, the new builds feature accessible layouts and high energy efficiency standards. Building services include modern heat pumps and photovoltaic installations on the roofs. The surrounding neighbourhood environment is complemented by landscaped green spaces as well as designated play and communal areas for residents.

Systematised construction method and further development
On the occasion of the completion, Alexander Krawczyk, Managing Director of ha.ge.we, emphasised the importance of the project for the local market. With the ready-to-occupy apartments, the housing company is purposefully expanding its offering in Hagen to provide adequate housing for people with different financial circumstances and space requirements.
Thorsten Schenk, head of the Dortmund branch of GOLDBECK West GmbH, highlighted the advantages of the chosen construction method. The systematised construction approach made it possible to deliver the residential project on schedule and cost-effectively in close partnership with ha.ge.we, without compromising on build quality or individual specifications.
Following the successful completion of the first phase, the continuation of the quarter's development is already confirmed: work on the second construction phase at Brantheke is scheduled to commence shortly.
