Maria Angela Ciriello (46) has been appointed as the new Managing Director of BF.capital GmbH. The company operates as an investment manager for institutional private debt investments. Ms. Ciriello will retain her position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the parent company BF.direkt AG. In the management of BF.capital, she will share responsibility with Eugenio Sangermano (47), who also holds the position of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of BF.direkt AG. Berthold Garbas has left the management of BF.capital.
Maria Angela Ciriello joined the BF Group in 2021. Prior to this, she gained 14 years of experience at LBBW Asset Management Investmentgesellschaft in Stuttgart. There, she held various positions and was responsible for corporate controlling, risk management, and outsourcing controlling, among other areas. She holds a degree in Economics and is a state-certified IT specialist.
Eugenio Sangermano has been part of the BF Group since 2023. He moved from W&W Asset Management to BF.capital along with Berthold Garbas. Francesco Fedele, CEO of BF.direkt AG, thanked Berthold Garbas for his commitment to the further development of BF.capital in recent years. He expressed his pleasure about Maria Angela Ciriello's appointment to the position, describing her as a proven financial and leadership expert from within the company's ranks.
