International real estate services firm Colliers is further expanding its presence in the New York commercial property market. The company is strengthening its local office and industrial leasing teams with two new executives, both joining the Manhattan office from Cushman & Wakefield.
John Albal joins Colliers as Senior Associate. Following almost seven and a half years at Cushman & Wakefield, he will focus primarily on tenant representation and office leasing across the Manhattan market. Over the course of his career to date, Albal has specialised in advising executives on strategic location decisions and leasing processes.
Expertise in industrial and office space across the boroughs
The industrial segment is also receiving reinforcement: Joseph Hentze Jr. assumes the role of Vice President at Colliers, overseeing industrial leasing activities across all five boroughs of New York City from the Manhattan office. Hentze previously spent nearly six years at Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as Director, where he managed industrial transactions on both the tenant and landlord sides across Manhattan and the outer boroughs.
John Gallagher, Executive Managing Director at Colliers in New York, emphasised that both recruits bring valuable market experience, strong client relationships and an in-depth understanding of the New York market landscape. With many companies currently reassessing their space requirements and making more strategic real estate decisions, experienced advice is more critical than ever in this evolving market.
