CTP, Europe's largest listed owner and developer of logistics and industrial properties by gross lettable area, has completed construction work on CTPark Krefeld. The development at Krützpoort 13–16a involved the construction of a modern business park on a plot of approximately 31,700 square metres. The total lettable area amounts to 19,000 square metres, of which 15,700 square metres are warehouse space and 3,300 square metres are office and social areas.

The flexible space design of CTPark Krefeld allows for rental units from 400 to 4,800 square metres and is aimed at companies from industry, logistics, and production-related sectors. The realisation was carried out in two construction phases. The first section was completed in January 2026, and the second in May 2026. The entire project was thus completed within approximately 14 months of construction commencing.

Sustainability and tenant settlement

A key focus of the development was an energy-efficient and sustainable building concept. The new building was certified according to DGNB Gold and integrates various ecological features. Even upon completion, a first tenant was secured: an internationally active steel and technology group has leased approximately 1,700 square metres. These areas are intended for storage, goods handling, order picking, logistical processing of metal products, as well as associated office and administrative activities.

Timo Hielscher, Managing Director at CTP Germany, commented on the expansion of the portfolio in North Rhine-Westphalia and emphasised Krefeld's attractive location advantages due to its central position, proximity to transport axes, and connection to public transport. Sarah Klein, Construction Director at CTP Germany, underlined the high standard of energy efficiency through photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, and energy-efficient lighting, which contribute to reducing energy consumption and emissions.

Sandra Kraus, Leasing Director at CTP Germany, highlighted that the rapid settlement of the first tenant confirms the quality of the location and the suitability of the space concept for modern industrial and logistics companies. The combination of warehouse, office, and social areas enables flexible use and reflects different operational requirements within one location.

Location and connectivity

CTPark Krefeld is located in the western part of the city, approximately 2.7 kilometres from the city centre. Accessibility is ensured by its proximity to the A44 and A57 motorways, which are reachable in less than ten minutes by car. Düsseldorf Airport is approximately 25 minutes' drive away. A tram stop within walking distance ensures connection to public transport. Additionally, cycle paths run in the immediate vicinity of the site.
