The Empira Group has successfully achieved full occupancy of the BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin building. Two long-term tenancy agreements for spaces at the property on Schöneberger Ufer have led to the complete utilisation of approximately 8,600 square metres of rental space. The building, which spans eight upper floors, now accommodates a diversified tenant environment.
Previously, UFA and DATEV eG had entered into long-term agreements. The recently signed tenancy agreements with two further companies from the information technology and security sectors confirm the appeal of the location. This establishes a tenant structure at BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin comprising technology firms, media companies, and economic players.
Sustainability and Location Quality
Marcus Bartenstein, CEO of the Empira Group, stated that the full occupancy of the project demonstrates the compelling nature of high-quality office properties that feature a consistent sustainability strategy, flexible usage concepts, and a prime location. In his assessment, BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin creates a location that meets the requirements of contemporary businesses and generates long-term value.
BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin was designed as a sustainable project. It operates fossil-free through a combination of an air-source heat pump with photovoltaics and aims for DGNB Gold certification. The fit-out includes high-quality communal areas, spacious roof terraces, and modern communication spaces, supporting a future-oriented working environment.
Daniel Watzek, Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at the Empira Group, regarded the full occupancy shortly after completion as a strong signal for the project's quality and companies' confidence in modern, sustainable office spaces. He highlighted that, in collaboration with the letting partners, they succeeded in building a balanced and future-proof tenant structure that will shape the character of the location in the long term.
