Goldbeck Facility Services, a subsidiary of the construction and services group Goldbeck, is deepening its existing cooperation with the MOMENI Group. As part of this expansion, Goldbeck will immediately take over facility management for an office property in the German capital. This decision marks a further step in the strategic collaboration between the two companies, who already successfully operate several projects.
The property in question is a six-storey office building, completed in 2010. It has a total rental area of approximately 7,250 square metres. Characteristic of the property is a large glazed atrium, which functions as a central entrance area and provides access to conference and event rooms as well as the office floors above. The main tenant of the property is a public institution.
Goldbeck Facility Services' mandate includes both technical and infrastructural building management. This involves coordinating and carrying out all measures to ensure smooth operation. This particularly includes the maintenance and upkeep of technical systems, as well as comprehensive infrastructural services that are essential for the functionality and condition of the building.
Strengthening third-party market position and expertise for public sector clients
Nils Lueken, Managing Director of Goldbeck Facility Services, commented on the new assignment. He emphasised that this mandate further expands activities in the third-party market – i.e., existing properties not built by Goldbeck. The company's own expertise in holistic building management will be specifically applied. Mr Lueken also highlighted that the project demonstrates Goldbeck's role as a reliable partner for the public sector, both as a user and as a property owner and operator.
Christoph Schenkel, Senior Real Estate Manager at MOMENI, confirmed the positive development of the cooperation. He expressed pleasure at the further expansion of the proven collaboration with Goldbeck Facility Services, especially with the first joint property in Berlin. For MOMENI, it is crucial that operations are efficiently organised and that services are consistently adapted to the user's requirements. Mr Schenkel attested to Goldbeck's necessary professionalism and expertise for this task.
