In Hamburg's City Süd submarket, two office properties have recorded new lettings to the education sector. Three educational institutions have chosen new locations there, leasing a combined total of around 1,200 square metres of office space. All leases were brokered by the office leasing team at Newmark Hamburg.
MySchool gGmbH takes space in the Fleetbüro
Part of the transacted space is located in the Fleetbüro property at Wendenstraße 375-379. MySchool gGmbH has secured almost 500 square metres of office space in the building. The non-profit organisation will use the premises for its teaching operations in future.
The Fleetbüro office building comprises a total usable area of around 32,000 square metres. Following this latest letting, the occupancy rate of the property now stands at 95 per cent. The asset is owned by a Hamburg family office.
Lettings and lead agency mandate in the Nexus office building
In parallel, two further deals were concluded in the Nexus office complex at Hammerbrookstraße 92. There, two educational institutions, including a non-profit organisation, secured space of around 490 square metres and 210 square metres respectively. Both tenants have already moved into their units.
The Nexus office building has a total usable area of approximately 9,000 square metres. Following the arrival of both occupiers, the current occupancy rate of the property stands at 65 per cent. The building is owned by a company belonging to FREO Group.
For the remaining vacant space in Nexus, the owner has awarded Newmark a lead broker mandate. The advisory firm is thus managing the marketing of the office space currently still available in the Hammerbrookstraße property.
