The construction and building services group HOCHTIEF has raised its expectations for the operating consolidated profit for the current fiscal year 2026. This revision is based on continued positive business development, which exceeds the original assumptions. The new range for the operating consolidated profit is now expected to be between EUR 1,025 and EUR 1,100 million.
The previous forecast had projected an operating consolidated profit of EUR 950 to EUR 1,025 million. The current adjustment thus represents an increase of approximately 30 to 40 percent compared to the previous year, whereas previously an increase of only 20 to 30 percent was assumed. This development is primarily attributable to the strong performance of the subsidiary Turner.
Turner's Contribution to Group Success
Turner recorded a distinctively high development in demand, particularly in the data centre sector. Against this backdrop, the forecast for Turner's operating profit before taxes for fiscal year 2026 has also been significantly raised. A range of USD 1,400 to USD 1,460 million is currently expected here, compared to an original estimate of USD 1,300 to USD 1,350 million.
- —HOCHTIEF consolidated profit (new): EUR 1,025 to EUR 1,100 million
- —HOCHTIEF consolidated profit (old): EUR 950 to EUR 1,025 million
- —Turner operating profit before taxes (new): USD 1,400 to USD 1,460 million
- —Turner operating profit before taxes (old): USD 1,300 to USD 1,350 million
This re-evaluation of expectations for Turner corresponds to a projected increase of 35 to 40 percent compared to the previous year; the prior assumption was 25 to 30 percent. The operating consolidated profit is defined as the nominal consolidated profit adjusted for non-operating effects. However, all forecasts are subject to future market conditions.
HOCHTIEF expects to provide detailed results and further information with the publication of the full half-year financial report 2026. This will be made available on 27 July 2026 at 14:00 CEST.
