La Française Finance Services (LFFS), the central, multi-asset class sales platform of investment manager La Française, has announced the opening of a regulated branch in Brussels. The office is located at Boulevard du Roi Albert II 2. This move serves to strategically strengthen its local presence in Belgium and is intended to ensure continuity of services and more in-depth support for Belgian clients and partners.
Although La Française has been active in Belgium with its own team for several years, the establishment of this regulated branch marks a significant milestone. It is part of the company's comprehensive international expansion strategy, which aims to establish regulated presences in key European markets. This combines the company's expertise in asset management with local market knowledge.
Strategic Expansion in Europe
The Brussels branch is the fourth of its kind, following successful establishments in Luxembourg, Italy, and Spain. The Belgian branch is authorised to distribute both listed and unlisted investment solutions in the Belgian market. This underscores the ambition to offer a broad spectrum of investment opportunities.
Gianni Pauwels, appointed Sales Director and Branch Manager, heads the new branch. He is supported in his role by Elodie Heintz, Senior Sales Manager for Belgium. Andrea Bertocchini, Head of Benelux and Nordics for La Française Finance Services, commented that Belgium is a strategically relevant market for La Française, characterised by a sophisticated and diversified investor base. The establishment of a regulated presence in Brussels reflects the commitment to building long-term client relationships and deploying La Française's comprehensive investment expertise across Europe.
Strengthening Market Position
The enhanced physical and regulatory presence in Belgium is a clear indication of the importance La Française attaches to the Benelux market. The ability to operate on a regulated basis locally and distribute specific products allows for more precise and efficient service to the local investor base. This not only fosters market penetration but also ensures high compliance and client proximity, which are essential in the current market environment.
