Logivest, a consultant specialising in logistics properties, has arranged approximately 3,000 square metres of logistics space for Schwarzt GmbH in Alfeld, Lower Saxony. This acquisition represents a significant step for Schwarzt GmbH, which was seeking additional capacity as part of its regional expansion efforts. The arranged property will be used by the company for production and packaging purposes, thereby complementing its existing portfolio.
The logistics property, whose landlord is a private individual, is characterised by specific features that meet the requirements of modern logistics processes. The hall offers a high floor load capacity, which enables the storage of heavy goods, and a clear height of up to 14 metres, supporting efficient stacking and storage concepts. The equipment also includes high-performance overhead cranes and four large ground-level gates, ensuring rapid loading and unloading as well as flexible material flow organisation.
Strategic location and operational advantages
A decisive advantage of the Alfeld location is its transport links. The property is only two minutes from Bundesstraße 3. This federal road is an important north-south axis, providing a direct connection to Hamburg in the north and leading southwards via Frankfurt and Freiburg to the Swiss border. This location enables Schwarzt GmbH to achieve efficient distribution and optimal access to supra-regional transport routes, which significantly benefits operational processes.
Schwarzt GmbH already operates other sites in Schellerten and Lamspringe. The addition of the space in Alfeld thus expands the company's existing network in the region and strengthens its presence. The new premises enable Schwarzt GmbH to expand its production and packaging capacities and react more flexibly to market demands. The handover and occupation of the property have already been successfully completed, allowing operations to commence without delay.
Hosseyn Mahiyan, Consultant Industrial & Logistics (Letting) at Logivest GmbH in Hanover, commented on the successful conclusion of the arrangement. He highlighted that not every transaction proceeds straightforwardly and that the successful conclusion after several attempts was particularly satisfying. This underlines the complexity of some brokering processes and Logivest's expertise in their realisation.
