Logivest, a company specialising in logistics real estate consultancy, has successfully completed two exclusive mandates for brokering logistics space in Ehrenkirchen, near Freiburg. The transaction involves the brokering of over 4,000 square metres of logistics space to SL-Fulfillment GmbH, which offers services in the food, beauty, and health segments for online retail.
SL-Fulfillment exclusively commissioned Logivest to search for suitable warehouse space. Simultaneously, Logivest received an exclusive mandate from another company to let warehouse space. This dual role facilitated a constructive process, as Logivest had the appropriate space that met the requirements of the e-commerce service provider.
Property and Location Suitability
The brokered unit comprises a hall of over 4,000 square metres with warehouse and office space. It is equipped with ramps and ground-level gates. Additionally, approximately 3,600 square metres of outdoor space are available. The configuration of the space is designed for the specific requirements of SL-Fulfillment's e-commerce business.
Nikolai Windhäuser, Managing Director of Logivest Stuttgart GmbH, pointed out that the Freiburg region represents a strong economic location due to its position in the tri-border area. The connection to France and Switzerland, as well as the direct link via the A5 motorway to other parts of Germany, makes the location equally attractive for businesses and e-commerce.
Ingo Volk, Head of Industrial & Logistics (Letting) at Logivest GmbH Stuttgart, emphasised that the simultaneous exclusive mandates from both sides facilitated the contract drafting and the bringing together of the parties. The handover of the space and the occupation are planned for September.
