e+k Development GmbH has appointed Maximilian Blau as Managing Director, effective 1 August 2026. As a long-standing employee of the company, Mr Blau will take over the operational leadership of e+k AG's project development division. In his new role, he will manage the areas of acquisition, project development, and project realisation, and be responsible for their strategic advancement.
Mr Blau has been with e+k AG since 2019 and most recently served as Senior Manager Project Development. In this capacity, the 36-year-old was responsible for a number of significant real estate projects within the Munich metropolitan region. These projects include, among others, the HEIMERAN office and commercial building in Munich's Westend, as well as the B.munich project, which was realised in the immediate vicinity of Munich Central Station. He also supported other current development mandates that are currently in the execution phase.
Extensive Expertise and Leadership Continuity
Maximilian Blau has almost a decade of experience in project development and brings this extensive expertise to the company's management. Sebastian Wasser, CEO of e+k AG, commented on the appointment, emphasising that with Mr Blau, a long-standing and very experienced e+k employee would be taking over responsibility in the project development management. Mr Wasser further stated that Mr Blau is intimately familiar with the internal processes and projects of e+k Development GmbH and has already successfully overseen numerous ventures within the scope of service development mandates. This personnel decision is therefore the appropriate choice to continue the strategy of strengthening service development and to ensure personnel continuity in this business area.
Maximilian Blau expressed his thoughts on his new role, highlighting that he looks forward to it and appreciates the trust placed in him. He noted that some of the ongoing projects are currently in the realisation phase or are nearing completion. In addition to acquiring new service development mandates, Mr Blau intends to strategically further develop the project portfolio. Another goal is to increasingly create synergies between project development and the areas of asset, property, and investment management. This measure aims to offer customers enhanced value along the entire value chain.
