Medical supply store Lückenotto, a company with almost 100 years of expertise, will open a new branch on Campus Neue Balan in Munich. A corresponding lease agreement for an area of approximately 800 square metres on the ground floor of Building 14 was signed with Allgemeine SÜDBODEN. The opening of this new location is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
The new branch represents Lückenotto's 17th location in Germany and is situated on the district boundary to Haidhausen. The company is part of the internationally active OPED GmbH, a medical technology company. The planned location will be spread across two separate areas, which will in future be used both as a spacious sales and consultation area and for an integrated workshop. The concept of this multifunctional branch is designed to serve as a model for future locations in terms of its offerings and facilities. In addition to the classic medical supply store range, topics such as information and prevention are to be addressed there to meet the current demands of the healthcare sector.
Allgemeine SÜDBODEN is preparing the rental spaces specifically for the new tenant's requirements. This involves creating the spatial conditions for the consultation, sales, and workshop areas. The architecture of Building 14, particularly its high ceilings, contributes to giving the future sales area a spacious and open feel. This supports a modern and inviting presentation of the products.
Ms. Bettina Krause, Head of Lettings at Allgemeine SÜDBODEN, emphasised that Lückenotto represents an established addition to the existing sector mix on Campus Neue Balan. She explained that Lückenotto's consultation and service offerings bring an additional health aspect to the campus, from which those working there daily can benefit. She stressed that Campus Neue Balan occupies a special position in the health, sport, and wellness sector in Munich through offerings such as the 50-metre outdoor pool, the Elements fitness studio, and the Specialized cycling shop.
Mr. Olaf Weber, Managing Director at Lückenotto, commented on the constant further development of medical supply store provision and the necessity of combining classic and new healthcare offerings. Alongside individual customer consultation and supply, easy accessibility is of great importance. He highlighted the excellent conditions at Campus Neue Balan, which are provided by good parking facilities and connectivity to public transport. A bus stop is located directly on site. The space enables the company to optimally combine consultation, sales, and workshop in one central location.
