For Oldenburgische Landesbank AG (OLB), the consulting firm neotares has designed and implemented a new office space in Frankfurt am Main. OLB has significantly expanded its presence across Germany in recent years due to its growth. This project created a new location in Frankfurt that meets modern work requirements.
The undertaking involved the development of a 3,600 square metre area within the OPTIONS building complex, situated in Frankfurt's Europaviertel. Approximately 300 OLB employees moved into these premises in April 2026. The support provided by neotares extended from the initial planning in 2024 to full realisation.
The mandate awarded encompassed the entire process of creating the new working environment. This began with the initial search for rental space and a detailed requirements analysis, which took into account the specific needs of OLB. Furthermore, it included assistance with lease negotiations, the design of the new premises, and the management of the entire implementation. neotares acted as a generalist, coordinating all relevant aspects.
Parallel to these core tasks, neotares was responsible for the overall interior design concept. This included defining the colour and material scheme, preparing the execution plans, and managing the tendering and awarding process. A central component was also the integration of a media technology concept for the meeting and conference rooms, which meets the demands of a contemporary office environment.
This holistic approach, whereby neotares was responsible for the process from strategic planning to detailed implementation, enabled the creation of a working environment that supports OLB's growth strategy in Frankfurt. The successful realisation marks an important step in the bank's nationwide expansion.
