Newmark Group, an internationally active company in the commercial real estate services sector, has announced the acquisition of L+P Immobilienbewertungs GmbH. This transaction involves the integration of L+P into Newmark's Valuation & Advisory division, which is part of Investor Solutions.
L+P Immobilienbewertung, founded over 25 years ago, has established itself as a full-service provider for real estate valuations in Germany. The company employs a team of over 40 specialists and serves institutional clients across Europe. L+P's expertise spans commercial, residential and special properties, and is characterised by profound local market knowledge and a reputation for precise valuations.
Strategic Expansion of Valuation Capabilities
Dr. Helge Ludwig, founder of L+P Immobilienbewertungs GmbH, commented on the acquisition, emphasising that L+P's aim has always been to provide independent, reliable and high-quality real estate valuations. The merger with Newmark combines these competencies with an international platform and additional technology capabilities. This is intended to create a stronger company that offers increased value to clients and opens up new development opportunities for employees.
John Busi, President of Newmark Valuation & Advisory, highlighted the significance of this acquisition. He described L+P as an enrichment for Newmark and a milestone in the expansion of its European Valuation & Advisory business. The acquisition of L+P is the fourth acquisition in this segment this year and is intended to further strengthen the market position. The goal is to support clients more comprehensively through expertise, technology-driven solutions and the strength of a growing international platform.
Marcus Lütgering, Country Head Germany at Newmark, pointed to the German market's demand for valuation expertise that combines technical know-how with many years of market experience. He explained that with L+P, Newmark gains a team that has been providing precise and legally robust real estate valuations for investors, credit institutions, fund companies and public authorities for over 25 years. This collaboration is intended to further expand competencies and create greater value for the aforementioned client groups.
Continuous Investments in Valuation & Advisory
This latest acquisition is part of a series of Newmark's investments in the Valuation & Advisory division. Previous acquisitions include Catella Valuation Advisory in France, the Canadian valuation business of the Altus Group, and einwert, which was recently acquired by Newmark Germany. These strategic investments aim to strengthen Newmark's valuation expertise in key markets.
