Other notable deals this month include a $9 million purchase of a 143‑acre parcel at 8703 River Road, a $6.3 million off‑market sale of 402 Old Locke Lane, and a $5.5 million off‑market transaction for 105 Brookschase Lane, a 12,500‑sq‑ft home in Henrico’s Windsor on the James community.
The second‑highest sale of October was 5210 Riverside Drive, a 7,800‑sq‑ft Richmond home that sold for $3 million on Oct. 17—just above its Oct. 1 listing. The property, owned by BJ Kocen (who inherited it from his late mother, Maralyn Kocen, in February), sits on a half‑acre corner lot overlooking the James River. It features four bedrooms, six bathrooms, and is 20 years old. The seller was represented by Kelly Blanchard of Nest Realty Group, while the buyer’s agent was Jane Vick Gill of Long & Foster.
