n September 8, 2025, in Georgetown, Columnar Investments announced the Heirloom Georgetown project—a 620‑acre mixed‑use development. It will feature 340 acres of housing, 109 acres of commercial space, 48 acres of parkland, and 120 acres earmarked for a GISD school, plus a Trader Joe’s. Construction is slated to start early 2026.
