Abreu advises Panattoni on acquisition of Saint-Gobain land for Lisbon-City Project

A
breu Advogados has assisted Panattoni Ibéria in acquiring land from the former Covina glass factory, a property owned by Saint-Gobain in Santa Iria de Azóia. This transaction was completed earlier this year and marks a significant step towards establishing Panattoni's first logistics park in the Greater Lisbon area.

The 212,380 m² site will be developed into three lots, featuring five warehouses with a total gross leasable area of 85,485 m². Construction is planned to take place in two phases, starting in February and mid-2025 respectively, and is expected to generate 200 new jobs. Abreu Advogados provided comprehensive legal advisory services to Panattoni Ibéria from March 2021 onwards.

Panattoni Park Lisbon-City represents a major milestone for the logistics and real estate sectors in Portugal, according to Pedro Pais de Almeida, partner at Abreu Advogados. The operation involved a team of professionals led by Pais de Almeida, including Diogo Belard Correia, Joana Maldonado Reis, Madalena Bernardes Coelho, Ana Luísa Ferreira, Guilherme Mata da Silva, Filipa Vicente Silva, and Manuel Santiago.
